I usually don't venture out on a Friday morning for garage sales, but the lack of grocery shopping this week forced me to make an early run out. Sure glad I did. Look what I found! The braided carpet, pair of handcrafted cats (one from an old quilt), a primitive picture, the set of 12 Time Life Country books, 3 super size Christmas theme rubber stamps, and the double hook heavy-duty plant holder. ALL for a total of $18.50 - Now normally I stay away from rugs from someone else's house, but this one is like new and a reasonable size to clean just in case. For those of you who have not seen the Time Life books - GET A SET. I use them ALL THE TIME to pick paint colors, get decorating ideas, garden ideas, and just plain have a great time looking at the pictures. They are a MUST have in my opinion for primitive and colonial enthusiasts. Can't wait for tomorrow's sales!!
