After a week of craziness around home, I've finally got a second to post one of many things I want to share. Today, it is my recent obsession - the Blue Birds. They have been nesting in our boxes for about two years now, but this year I have trained them to eat out of a feeder. I feed them every morning. I don't know who looks forward to it more, the birds (getting food), or me(watching and taking pictures). Here are two pictures from this morning. The male bird has stocked up on mealworms and is taking them to the baby Blue Birds that have already hatched this year. I'll be posting pictures tomorrow of some new primitive items I've finished. I painted the lid to a great old picnic basket just in time for Memorial Day.
