Antique High Chair Project

Like most people, Mondays are very busy for me. On top of a regular work day, the house always needs extra attention because we run alot on the weekends. Normally, I'll have treasures from flea markets or garage sales to work on and prepare for the shop. This week, however, the temperatures in PA were chilly, and the wind gusts were so strong I felt like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz just before the house took off. The treasures this week amounted to a wonderful book on Folk Art from Country Living (that's a keeper), a stoneware pitcher, and a wooden goose that will become a "before & after" post very soon. So primitive work yesterday centered on an old high chair that was purchased at a flea market about a month ago. It's not finished (due to those busy Mondays), but here is a peek at how it' coming along.
